Artist Statement
Over time my sculptural work has become the central focus of my practice, primarily using natural materials like stone, paper, and wool. My stone work has ranged in size from handheld up to several tons. Many of my works unfold from material studies, possess geometric qualities, deal with gravity and balance, and relate to the elements.
